A JOURNALIST, WRITER, SPEAKER AND MEDIA PERSON, HE IS CURRENTLY THE PRESIDENT OF THE EMIRATES JOURNALISTS ASSOCIATION and is the former executive director of editing and publishing at Abu Dhabi Media Company and former editor-in-chief of Al Ittihad newspaper. And the former editor-in-chief of Al-Roya newspaper and its digital platforms, and the founder and former editor-in-chief of the Arabic edition of National Geographic Arabic magazine.He is a member of many organizations and associations, as he is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Journalists (Brussels), a member of the Board of Directors of the Arab Journalism Award (Dubai) and a member of the advisory board of Sky News Arabia (Abu Dhabi). He received many awards, including: the Federal Personality of the Year Award from the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, the Minister of Interior Medal for Community Service, and the Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Award for Humanitarian Work. He has published 4 books: Time of Ordeal (2008), Emirates Democracy (2009), The Fall of the Brotherhood (2016), and The Boycott (2018).
