Korean doctors abandon studying pediatrics
South Korea has the world’s lowest birth rate. The average number of children born to a woman declined to 0.78 in 2022 from 0.81 in the previous year. The shortage of birth records has pushed doctors to abandon the study of pediatrics, Reuters reported.
