Number of prostitutes in Germany on the rise
The number of prostitutes in Germany rose by 19.1% at the end of 2022, increasing to about 28,280 prostitutes from 23,740 in 2021, announced the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). The rise was driven by easing restrictions that had been imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
