South Africa sues Israel for genocide
South Africa filed a lawsuit at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against Israel for its genocidal acts in Gaza South Africa asked the court to indicate provisional measures to protect Gazans under the Genocide Convention.
“The ICJ will hold public hearings on the request for the indication of provisional measures submitted by South Africa in the case South Africa v. Israel on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 January 2024,” the ICJ said in a statement.
